submitted by Natahja G. - |Recommended: NoWater — Hot water gets cold in 10 mins after fixing my water heater it’s now 2 weeks maybe 3, and still gets cold in 10 mins. They claim nothings wrong with my water water heater.

We understand how frustrating it is to have hot water run cold after only 10 minutes, especially after believing the issue had already been addressed. If the problem is continuing, we want to take another look. Sometimes intermittent or recurring hot water concerns can involve additional components beyond the water heater itself, and we want to make sure nothing has been overlooked. Your comfort is important to us, and this is not something we want you to keep dealing with. Please contact the leasing office directly so we can schedule a follow up inspection and review the previous service visit. We are committed to getting this properly resolved for you.

They called a plumbing company to come out but won’t let them work on it even though the plumbing company says there’s something wrong with it. I have 2 little ones and we have to save hot water everyday just to make sure we can take baths.

submitted by Garland M. - |Recommended: YesNew review this year Wow A complete 180 yay Veteran welcomed Welcomes people would are struggling but on the right path. They are one of the very few pet friendly places. That’s the short story. Here’s the long detailed story. I was homeless and saved enough to live in this apartment complex 2 years ago. It was bad, I mean holes in the walls, black mold, no inside doors, hot water heater didn’t work, food disposal was broken, BAD. They changed managers 2 times within first 9 months and nothing was getting fixed or taken care of. Mrs Tanya makes sure all her residents are comfortable and feel like this is our home. My other apartment unit was unlivable. As soon as Mrs Tanya came and spoke with me about living conditions, everything changed. She moved me into a fully fixed apartment with no issues and welcomed me with open arms. I usually would have taken that with a grain of salt but she showed me different. She changed my opinion of Woodlake Apartments for the better.

submitted by Amelia G. - |Recommended: NoMost dense management I’ve ever experienced. Their leasing agent Trey lies frequently to get you off the phone. I only got my security deposit back after calling corporate after 2 months of being shooed off the phone by Trey. Got it within the week after I called corporate . If you live there, know that they can do something they just choose not to.

submitted by Garland M. - |Recommended: NoRegret — This place is nasty. The ceilings have black mold on them. When I called them they just sprayed beach on it. A week later the mold is back and bigger. The water drains into the hall every day. They don’t fix anything. They put a bandaid on it. This place should have a health inspection. I lived here for 1 year.

Per the terms of our lease agreement rent is due on the 1st of each month with or without demand for every resident. We do have a 5 day grace period as we understand our residents are busy. The late fee of $30.00 is applied on the 6th of each month. If rent is not paid there is a daily late fee of $10.00. Unfortunately if residents do not remit their rent payment we do have to seek legal recourse and follow the terms of the lease agreement. submitted by Daniel W. - |Recommended: YesCould Be A Lot Worse. Could Be A Lot Better. — I'll start with the positives. The floors are easy to clean. The appliances are fairly up to date. The community is quiet for the most part and very dog friendly. Ample parking day or night. Fairly private while still being in a good location. Central AC Heat is nice. Big sliding doors to back patio overlooking somewhat scenic pond with lots of geese. Now the negatives. Note I may be an exception but this is all based on my experience. My apartment wasn't the cleanest when I moved in, in fact there was broken glass in the corner of the dining nook thing. Smoke detectors were not installed. Toilet wobbles, shows shoddy installment. Bathroom vent doesn't work. Garbage disposal doesn't work. Doors to big bedroom is broken at the latch making it hard to close open. One of my kitchen drawers just had a bunch of hinges, screws, and such. The grounds are fairly litter filled. I want to like this place as it's lowkey, quiet, and pet friendly but if I was living here for longer than 3 months I would be a lot more irate than I am about the state of the apartment. While the staff might not be able to answer all questions or help with all problems they do try and do their best to accommodate when able. Not the worst place to rent as a college student, but if you're a working adult I would highly encourage you rent with caution. Maybe ask for a tour of the unit you would be renting or something.
